For more than 700 years, the Alexian Brothers have cared for the sick, the aged, the poor and the dying. The basic Judeo-Christian beliefs that inspired the founders of this Catholic religious congregation sustain a contemporary commitment to promote the physical, mental, spiritual and social well-being of all individuals they serve. Today, 7,000 doctors, nurses, technicians and support staff provide exceptional health care through the four hospitals that comprise the Alexian Brothers Hospital Network – Alexian Brothers Medical Center and Alexian Rehabilitation Hospital, located in Elk Grove Village, and St. Alexius Medical Center and Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital in Hoffman Estates. In conjunction with a series of sophisticated clinical institutes and Alexian Brothers immediate care centers, occupational health clinics and diagnostic imaging centers throughout the Northwest suburban corridor, they provide the community with an all-encompassing array of heath care services.
