About the Alexian Brothers Foundation

The Alexian Brothers Foundation was established in 2002 to communicate and support the mission of the Alexian Brothers Health System. Alexian Brothers Health System consists of four hospitals: Alexian Brothers Medical Center and Alexian Rehabilitation Hospital in Elk Grove Village, IL; and St. Alexius Medical Center and Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital in Hoffman Estates.

The vision of the Alexian Brothers Health System is to provide world-class physicians, nurses, technology and facilities, delivered with the core values established by the Alexian Brothers over 700 years ago.

Those core values deliver compassion with concern and competency; utmost respect for one’s dignity no matter what one’s socioeconomic level; a holistic approach to promote the healing of the body, mind and spirit; all with a spirit of partnership.
